Passion Fruit Barbecued "Dayboat" Sea Scallops

I was so excited to try Redboard Tavern. The atmosphere was top notch and inviting, the staff was welcoming and authentic, and the food was incredible. I brought my friend for a business dinner; we started with the deviled eggs three ways...the French Onion egg was my absolutely favorite. I also had the corn and crab chowder, and I loved it. For dinner, my friend had the rabbit & haunch (loved it) and I had the scallops. I'm a bit of a scallop snob, and these were some of the best I've had. The texture was perfect, the portion was generous, and the sauce was just right. I had the creme brulee for dessert and my friend had the panna cotta. We left very satisfied after a leisurely dinner and great fellowship, and the staff was generous and accommodating to the very end. I can't wait to go again and try the pork bellies.

Deep Fried Smoked Gouda & Cheddar w/ Local Honey-Hot Sauce

Trust me this was so delicious and the sauce was excellent! We loved it but it will fill you up before the outstanding main course... dessert which we devoured the orange cream brulee. Dessert melted in your mouth with smooth sweetness.

Mediterranean Style Tomato & Mozzarella Salad

Our Red Board dining became an Italian adventure.....the Eggplant humus /garlic crisp pita wedges highlighted with roasted mini tomatoes and fennel ?shavings was delicious and left us wanting more then the Mediterranean style salad with Crispy garlic wedges helped scoop up the rich creamycheese / kalamata olives & salami with olive oil/vinegarette dressing....yummm leaving us to want more bread and olive oil to sop up... Our waiter, Nate does Red Board proud.....knowledgeable, attentive...pleasant...his recommendation of Orange Crem Brulee for dessert won over my dining companion hook, line and sinker while my ample blackberry crumble/ice cream dish satisfied with a clean, light but full berry taste minus the heavy usual filling

Texas Style Smoked Brisket "Reuben on Rye"

Got this to go. It was an excellent choice. So tasty and delicious. The jalapeno sauerkraut speaks with authority but made the sandwich a memorable one! The steak fries, thousand island dressing and pickles complimented the sandwich perfectly. We are looking forward to visiting again soon.

"Provimi" Veal Liver & Balsamic Braised-Cipollini Onions

This is definitely not your mama's liver and onions! Even liver-haters (like my husband) like it. The liver is light and tasty, with a sauce that compliments it well. And the onions were heavenly. As much as I love the liver, the gnocchi noodles did nothing for me, although they were very light, not at all dense. I would much rather have mashed potatoes or some other potato preparation. I will definitely order it again, and hope for potatoes...

Red Board has it going! Wonderful evening .... a really good dining experience! We all try new restaurants for their food .... Red Board is one of those places you'll to come back to ... soon! Our table's Scallops and Steaks were cooked to perfection ... couple that with friendly and attentive service ... great cocktails ... and fresh from the oven - blackberry cobbler ... you're going to get it all here!
